Consistancy is one of the main keys to losing weight. If you can stay consistent in your training and nutrition habits then you will find it easier to lose weight. So a daily fitness program that is followed every single day is a great way to achieve this.
No matter how much weight you want to lose, you can do it more effectively by planning a daily schedule of how to reach your goals. It can be quite daunting to start your journey with a goal of losing 30 pounds. So don’t do that. Instead set a goal of losing one pound a week. This is much easier to do and once you are reaching this target, you will find it much easier to continue.
So to devise your own daily fitness program, work out how much weight you want to lose each week and decide how to do it. More often than not, training just 3 times a week for 30 minutes is enough to lose at least a pound a week when combined with the proper nutrition.
Being strict in your daily routine is important too. Don’t just say “I’m going to exercise today”, instead set a specific time that you will do it. Tell yourself “I’m going to do 30 minutes of exercise from 18.30 until 19.00”. This is much easier to follow and you won’t run the risk of getting side tracked during the day.
Try and alternate when you train too. One day try and exercise in the morning and the next day in the evening. This confuses your body and it will burn more stored calories. If you train for the same time and at the same time each day, your body will soon get used to this and know what calories to burn. So mix things up as best you can and you’ll find the weight will drop off much more easily.
Use a combination of exercise machines. You can buy a manual treadmill (check out these reviews) quite affordably and use it at home. Most will fold away for easy storage. Or if you have the space, a home gym is an excellent addition to your workout plan. Or at the very least, some free weights will mean you can work your arms and shoulders every day and won’t take up any room in your home.
